Help a stuggling family...
I am starting this fundraiser to raise money for a family in need. They have a baby who is under two. They have been hit hard by the problems in the economy. The father lost his job. He has recently found work but it is not enough to get by. The mother must stay home with her boy as it would cost more than she would make to put the child in daycare. The mother also fears the same thing many mothers do....that her child would be sexually abused at a day care.
The mother is a kind hearted woman who has helped many victims of child abuse and rape. Why in our world does it sometimes seem like we pay the people who do the best work in the world the least.
I am a recent victim of rape and a life long survivor of abuse...and this woman has helped me heal immensely. It should be noted that I was sexually abused by my day care teacher. I want to help her now. I keep the family anonymous because I want to protect their pride.
They are also struggling with health issues and they cannot turn to family for help. They are full of joy and kindness. They are intelligent and careful with their funds. They have just hit hard times.
I am asking for you to help them. I want to raise $2,000 for them. Any donation will help.
